Summary of Executive Council Decisions of Wifaq Al-Madaris

An important electoral meeting of Wifaq Al-Madaris Al-Arabia Pakistan was held at Jamia Darul Uloom Karachi. Qari Sultan Al-Haq represented Jamia Islamia Allai.

The meeting elected Faqih-ul-Asr Hazrat Maulana Mufti Taqi Usmani as President and Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Hanif Jalandhari as General Secretary.

The following 15-point summary and policies were issued:

1. Examination Schedule: Next year's exams will be in a single phase.
2. Anti-Cheating: Strict action against students and staff involved in cheating.
3. Invigilators: Selected based on madrasah's affiliation level.
4. Evaluation: Qualified teachers will evaluate papers.
5. Mandatory Syllabus: Strict adherence to the core Wifaq curriculum.
6. Contemporary Sciences: Must be taught using the Wifaq curriculum.
7. Online Education: Wifaq will not conduct exams for online students.
8. Dirasat-e-Deenia: Online teaching allowed with Wifaq exams.
9. Training: Regular training workshops for madaris management.
10. Girls' Curriculum: Review of the female curriculum is underway.
11. Financial Assistance: Support for families of deceased staff.
12. Conventions: Provincial conventions will be organized soon.
13. Registration: No international dictates accepted on registration laws.
14. 26th Amendment: Oppose subjugation under the Ministry of Education.
15. Autonomy: No compromise on the freedom and independent structure of madaris.
